Rika Manabe is a documentary photographer based in Seattle. Rika has photographed over 120 weddings. She has worked as a photographer at a wedding studio in Seattle for several years and also trained other photographers.

8 years in wedding photography, her considerable professional experience allows her to work flexibly in a relaxed atmosphere and make you feel comfortable and actually enjoy being photographed all day!!

Rika also works as a freelance photojournalist. Her work ranges widely over travel, documentary, editorial, portraiture, and advertising, and her images have been published in several newspapers, books and magazines. She obtained her Masters degree in Photojournalism from San Jose State University in 2001. She is a proud member of Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA). She is also represented by Getty Images, one of the two leading stock agencies in the world.
